Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left the announcement of the birth of Christ to Mary, top right Saint Castulus with a palm branch, bottom left Saint Rupert as a bishop baptizing a man, bottom right Saint Guntram as a king distributing his riches to the poor. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut in the third state into 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
