Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Mary with the Christ Child in a cloud from which snow swirls onto a city, top right Saint Memmius dressed as a bishop, bottom left the Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Tabor, bottom right Saint Justus and Saint Pastor being beaten with sticks. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are printed on each sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, the series comprises 124 plates (490 depictions). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut down in the third state to 12 small prints and issued with a separate title page.
