Saint Martin of Tours, Saint Tryphon of Cattaro and companions, Saint Renatus of Angers, Saint Didacus of Alcalá (10-12 November)

Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top right Saint Martin of Tours on horseback who gives half his cloak to a man on crutches (this scene is dated 10 November, should be 11 November), top left Saint Tryphon of Cattaro whose feet are nailed through (this scene is dated 11 November, should be 10 November), bottom left Saint Renatus of Angers who preaches to a congregation, bottom right Saint Didacus of Alcalá who looks pensively at a crucifix in his hands. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are printed on each sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, the series comprises 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut down in the third state to 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
