About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, taking a musket (a certain type of firearm) from his left shoulder with his right hand. In his left hand, besides the butt of the musket, a fork (musket fork) and a lit match. This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
