About this work
A soldier, full-length, pouring powder from a powder flask into the pan (the powder reservoir) of a musket (a certain type of firearm). In his left hand, besides the musket, a fork and a lit match. This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
