About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, seen from the back, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) with his left hand at his left thigh and with his right hand taking the ramrod from the holder under the barrel. In his left hand, besides the musket, a lit match; on his left wrist, a fork (musket fork). This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
