About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, placing a musket (a certain type of firearm) on his left shoulder with his right hand, the barrel angled upwards. In his left hand, a lit match and a fork (musket fork). This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
