About this work
A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) with his right hand, the barrel pointing upwards. In his outstretched left hand, a lit match and a fork (musket fork), upon which he can place his weapon. This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
