Funeral of Field Marshal Paulus Wirtz in Amsterdam, 24 October 1679. The funeral procession winds its way to the entrance of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam. At the bottom, a medallion with the portrait of Wirtz and mourning soldiers and allegorical figures and weapons. Bottom right, the legend A-Z, partly supplemented with a pen. Wirtz died on 23 March 1676 but was buried in Amsterdam three years later in 1679.
