About this work
Festive procession in the evening of the Orangist workers of the yard of the Dutch East India Company, in the months October, November and December 1787. Long procession winds its way across the Kattenburgerplein, in the background 's Lands Zeemagazijn, left the Kattenburgerbrug. The workers carry axes and other tools, boards with the name of Prince William V, flags, insignia and symbols and lanterns with candles.
