About this work

Map of Nova Zembla and the Russian north coast. Top left an ornate cartouche with the title, left and right two wind roses, bottom right the scales. Copies of the original illustrations from the travel report of the voyage of Willem Barendsz and Jacob van Heemskerck in 1596-1597 and the stay on the island of Nova Zembla, No. 31.
