About this work
Stage on which the personifications of the South Sea Company and Gullibility sit on a throne and hold Avarice on a chain. Avarice eats coins and distributes paper shares. In the foreground and on the sides are wind traders; in the clouds, Fortuna scatters paper. With a caption in four columns.
