About this work

Alb strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Flemish guipure. The symmetrical ornament consists of two staggered rows of diamond-shaped cartouches alternating with a palmette shape surrounded by garlands and covered by a baldachin on a ground of scales. At the scalloped lower edge palmettes and C-shapes.
