Strip of bobbin lace with flower pots between S-shaped flower branches

Strip of bobbin lace: flowerpot lace. The repeating and symmetrical pattern consists of hanging flowerpots between S-shaped flower branches. Two types of flowerpots alternate. In one flowerpot stand five rosette flowers. And in the subsequent smaller pot stands one flower branch with a three-lobed flower between two plume flowers. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and are connected to each other by a five-hole ground. Between the flowers and leaves sparingly a decorative ground is applied, a snowflake ground. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, where the bottom is provided with picots.
