Strip of bobbin lace with ovals formed by curved leaves

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. The upper half of the strip has no pattern. The repeating pattern along the lower half consists of two curved leaves forming a broken oval with a flower in the center. This flower is attached to the upper leaf. Hanging from the lower leaf are five flowers, forming a fan-shaped shell. The motifs are placed close together, with the flowers at the bottom merging into each other. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh ground, a tulle ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with large cutouts and thicker, shiny contour threads. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The shells along the underside are finished with picots.
