Strip of bobbin lace with three lengthwise stripes

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. The continuous pattern begins below the center line and consists of two rows of small circles, with a horizontal vine between them with small leaves on either side. Along the lower row of small circles runs a wavy line forming scallops, with one small circle in each scallop. The motifs are connected by a fine mesh ground, a tulle ground. The sparing filling is made in linen stitch, with thicker and shiny contour threads. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The scallops along the underside are finished with picots.
