About this work

Strip of natural-coloured appliqué lace: needle lace applied to machine-made tulle. On a fine hexagonal mesh ground, along the lower edge a series of small, uniform, triangular flowers is sewn on. The flowers hang from a short stem with an oval leaf. The upper edge is finished with a bobbin lace band.
