About this work
Handkerchief of batiste with along the edges a thin wavy branch with leaves and flowers of plumetis embroidery. The handkerchief is finished along the edges with a strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Valenciennes lace. The lace has a pattern of three rows of buds in a trellis ground, a square Valenciennes ground, above a scallop edge which is finished with picots.
