About this work
Strip of natural-colored Dutch bobbin lace. The pattern consists of vertical straight lines, between which stand two stylized flowers, which are mirrored over the length axis. On the center line the flowers are flanked left and right by a horizontal pointed oval, which always cuts through the vertical line. The motifs are made in linen stitch with cutouts; there is hardly any ground, the motifs are connected to each other by very short braids. The top and bottom of the strip are finished with a straight edge.
