About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Binche lace. The repeating pattern consists of a one-sided directed S-shaped flower stem with a cup flower. The motifs are connected to each other by a lattice ground, a five-hole ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges. Top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, whereby the bottom is provided with picots.
