About this work
Strip of natural-coloured bobbin lace, Lille lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists along the bottom of a wavy line between two straight lines. The strip consists of a fine diamond-shaped mesh ground, the tulle ground. The top straight line and the wavy line are made with thicker and shiny threads. The bottom straight line is very narrow and made in linen stitch and provided with picots. The top side is finished straight.
