About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Binche lace. Two curved flower stems with broad leaves and different flowers form a linked wavy pattern. The motifs are connected to each other by an ornamental ground, a snowflake ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and in net stitch. Top and bottom are finished straight, whereby the bottom is provided with picots.
