About this work
Strip of natural-coloured bobbin lace, Flemish lace. The pattern consists of a curling sparse vine with stylized flowers and leaves. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork borders. They are connected by a lattice ground, a five-hole ground. The top and bottom edges are finished straight, with picots on one side.
