From the collection of Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Free to download, adapt and use — no permission needed.
Cloth of natural-colored batiste, square model with rounded corners and edged with a border of machine lace: Valenciennes lace. The cloth is decorated with three bands, each consisting of two inserts of Valenciennes lace and machine embroidery between them with notches through which a light pink ribbon is threaded. The repeating pattern of the lace border consists of a V-shaped flower branch with two small flowers. The six inserts have a pattern of a regularly wavy vine with rose hips or pomegranates attached. The embroidery consists of the same openwork round flower, surrounded by round petals. The back of the cloth with the decorated bands is lined.
