About this work
Hat veil of natural-colored lace embroidery on machine-made tulle, tulle cutwork. Along three sides stands in the semicircular shells always one large daisy, without stem. Above this runs a garland of finer half star-shaped flowers and toothed leaves. In all flowers and especially in the large ones, a selection of filling patterns in cutwork technique is applied. In the two bottom corners of the veil stand bouquets with five different flowers. The sides with shells are finished with blanket stitch. Along the top edge a slit has been made for threading a ribbon.
