About this work

Handkerchief of batiste with a triple border of bobbin lace and embroidery. The inner border is an insert of bobbin lace, followed by an insert of embroidery - white work - and then finished around with a wide border of bobbin lace: Mechlin lace. The embroidery has rosettes and stripes. The bobbin lace has flowers and vines.
