Strip of bobbin lace with a flowerpot

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: pot lace. The pattern probably repeats, but the strip is cut off and there is presumably one repeat visible. It concerns a flower pot from which five more or less fan-shaped flowers stick upwards. On both sides a long flower stem bends downwards, with a rosette flower at the end that curls towards the pot. A feather-shaped leaf on this stem curls upwards and touches the feather-shaped leaf of the next repeat via a rosette flowerlet that is clamped between both leaves. Under this rosette flowerlet stands a loose star-shaped flower with six petals and below that a loose crown-shaped flower. The motifs are made in linen stitch with cutouts and contour threads. The motifs are connected by a Paris ground. Between the flowers and leaves and in flower hearts a decorative ground is applied, a snowflake ground. The top and bottom edges of the strip are straight finished, with picots on the bottom edge. The short sides are finished with a hem.
