Strip of bobbin lace with facing round flowers with a bow

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, potter's lace. The repeating pattern consists alternately of two round flowers facing each other with S-shaped stems, which are tied together at the bottom with a bow and a large oval flower on a stem with a heart-shaped motif. The motifs are connected to each other by a mesh ground, the square Valenciennes ground. The motifs are made in linen stitch with thicker and shiny contour threads. In the flowers, the bow and the heart different snowflake grounds are applied. The top side is finished straight. Along the bottom side runs a narrow strip of unfinished linen. The short sides are finished with a hem.
