Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. Under a scatter pattern of square puffs the repeating pattern consists of linked circles with an openwork center. The motifs are connected at the top by a mesh ground, a net ground. The circles are made in linen stitch with an openwork center. Only the outside of each circle is accentuated with thick and shiny contour threads, the center is not accentuated with contour threads. In the center of each circle a limited ornamental ground is applied, you see part of the lattice of a rose ground. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The shell edge along the bottom side originates from the pattern with the circles and is finished with picots.
