Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. The repeating pattern consists of linked circles with a rosette flower in the center. Above the circles runs a narrow band made with a mesh ground, a net ground. The circles are entirely made with a rose ground, whereby the round meshes along the edge are accentuated with thick and shiny contour threads. The rosette flowers are made in linen stitch, with a small cutout in the middle and provided with a contour thread along the outside. Each circle forms a semicircular shell at the bottom side of the strip and is finished with picots. The top side of the strip is finished straight.
