Strip of bobbin lace with interlinked three-lobed leaves

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. The repeating and continuous pattern forms a wide band over the center line of the strip. It consists of a series of horizontal three-lobed leaves with a small circle at the base. The lobes are made in linen stitch, each small circle consists of an ornamental mesh. A thick and shiny contour thread runs around both lobes and circle. Above and below the circle stands a loose square puff, made in form stitch. The motifs are connected by a mesh ground, a net ground. Top and bottom side of the strip are finished straight.
