About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Buckingham lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists on the center line of a regularly wavy line. From each wave valley and each wave peak springs a three-lobed leaf that protrudes slightly above or below the waves. The waves and leaves are made in linen stitch and are provided with thick and shiny contour threads on all sides. The strip further consists of a mesh ground, a net ground. Top and bottom side of the strip are finished straight.
