About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, strap lace. The repeating pattern consists of one row of loose rhombuses made in net stitch. The rhombuses are connected to each other by a trellis ground: a strap trellis ground. Under this pattern runs a double straight line under which openwork fan-shaped shells. The top side of the strip is finished straight.
