About this work

Strip of white needle lace with a repeating motif of two types of flower branches, which alternate from the pattern of the lower border. Between the flower branches, some scatter flowers are situated on the fine hexagonal mesh ground. The upper side is edged with a bobbin lace border. The scalloped lower border is formed by two flower vines twisting around each other. The space between these flower vines is filled with various mesh grounds, with or without picots. Alençon lace.
