About this work
Strip of bobbin lace, gold lace. The pattern consists of a band that runs in zigzag over the center line. In each zigzag valley stands a small square and under each top hangs a fan-shaped shell. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The zigzag band and small squares are made in linen stitch and are connected to each other by bars and twisted pairs. The top edge of the strip and the shells consist of twisted pairs, which are braided together.
