About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Russian lace. Pattern formed by a ribbon that while winding forms lobes. The ribbon made in densely worked linen stitch, with openwork edges. The winding ribbon is kept in shape by braids. Top edge straight finished. Lower lobes form the shells and those are finished with triangles made of braids, with at each point a picot.
