Jug with foliate scrolls in panels

Stoneware jug on a high foot with a pear-shaped body and a wide neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Some profiles and incised lines on the foot and neck. The front of the jug features a compartment decoration formed by incised lines. The compartments are filled with blue, containing cut-out incised leafy scrolls or crosses. Blue lines on the foot and neck. Westerwald.
