Chart of a part of the coast of Brazil, with two compass roses, North lying above. In the upper left the title and publisher's address, flanked by a man with an arrow and a headdress and a seated man and a woman. Above the title a parrot and an ape. In the lower right the scale, shown in German, Spanish and English or French miles (scale: c. 1:450,000). Near the scale are a sea god with trident and a young man blowing a shell.
