About this work
A spring landscape. In the sky the astrological sign of April, the Bull. In the center Christ tells three high priests the parable of the workers in the vineyard (Matt. 21). On the right the farmers work in the vineyard. The steward keeps watch. The print has a Latin inscription and is part of a series about the life of Christ depicted in the twelve months of the year.
