About this work

Christ is taken down from the cross by Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, and John. Mary, Mary Magdalene, and four other women look on (Luke 23:53). The print bears a Latin inscription and is part of a series on the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Christ.
