Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Victor of Braga turning away from an image, top right Saint Justin the Philosopher offering a book to an emperor, bottom left Saint Tiburtius or Valerianus being crowned by an angel, bottom right Saint Basilissa and Saint Anastasia of Rome burying Peter and Paul. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut in the third state into 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
