A soldier, full-length, to the right, holding an arquebus (a certain type of firearm) with his right hand, the barrel pointing upwards, before transferring his weapon to his left hand. In his outstretched left hand, a lit match. This print is part of the series of 42 numbered prints of arquebusiers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
