About this work

A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a musket (a certain type of firearm) with his left hand at his left thigh, the barrel angled upwards. In his left hand, besides the musket, a fork (musket fork). With his right hand, he opens one of the powder measures on his bandolier. This print is part of the series of 43 numbered prints of musketeers from the Wapenhandelinghe.
