About this work

Satire on Maximilian II Emanuel, Elector of Bavaria, as an incompetent rider with a wooden leg mounting a horse. Texts in Dutch and French on the sheet next to the print. With notes (possibly from the Allard publishing house) at the bottom of the sheet. Satire on the situation in 1706 during the War of the Spanish Succession. Part of a series of 25 satires on the French and their allies from 1706.
