Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Swedish lace. The strip is pinned to a light blue card with seven other strips. At the top of the card is written "Laces From Skåne. Sweden." and under the strip is written on the card "From Tosterup". Tosterup is a castle in Skåne, which is in the south of Sweden. The symmetrical pattern consists of a slightly flattened hexagonal field in densely worked linen stitch, in which a star-shaped flower is made with cutouts. To the left and right of the hexagon, decorative bands are made with cutouts in linen work, with a border of Parisian meshes on both sides. The top side of the strip is finished straight. The round meshes on the underside of the strip form a scalloped edge with small shells.
