About this work
Insertion of natural-coloured machine lace: machine Valenciennes lace. The repeating pattern consists of a series of alternating a pointed oval and a mesh. They are made in linen stitch with openwork edges. The motif is made in a trellis ground, a machine square Valenciennes ground. Top and bottom side of the strip are finished straight.
