About this work
Insertion of machine lace: machine Mechelen lace. The repeating and continuous pattern consists of a wavy vine with alternating a drop-shaped leaf on the upper side and lower side. The vine and leaves are made in openwork linen stitch with thicker and shiny contour threads. The motif is made in a trellis ground, a machine Mechelen ground. Top and bottom side of the strip are finished straight. The strip is wrapped on a blue card with a price label.
