Handkerchief of batiste with an embroidered monogram "ET" and finished around with a border of natural-coloured needle lace: Brussels gauze lace. Symmetrical pattern with in each corner an obliquely placed medallion with a rose inside. Under the medallion, in the outermost corners of the handkerchief, a vine leaf. On either side of the medallion two drop-shaped frames with three leaves underneath. In the middle of the sides stands a leaf between two C-scrolls, underneath which hang four flowers.
