About this work

A square tulle center is set off with a strip of bobbin lace. The mesh ground of the bobbin lace (Mechlin ground or ice ground) is decorated with motifs, a row of one-sidedly directed leaf branches, and a series of 'earrings', which with campanes form the shells. Mechlin lace.
