About this work
Japanese strip of natural-colored Brussels appliqué lace: bobbin lace applied on machine-made tulle. Symmetrical arches, built from thin c-volutes, arch over a pointed oval field, filled with a hanging flower branch. Wide border of symmetrical, alternating inward and outward spirals, following the scallops, which are filled on the outside with godrons with a hanging flower.
